Rita Vaswani Steps Up to The Private Bank by Nevada State Bank

Formerly with the Professional Banking team at Nevada State Bank, Rita Vaswani, has joined The Private Bank by Nevada State Bank team.

LAS VEGAS – Formerly with the Professional Banking team at Nevada State Bank, Rita Vaswani, vice president/private banking relationship manager, has joined The Private Bank by Nevada State Bank team, specializing in serving the bank’s high net worth clients.

Vaswani has more than two decades of banking experience and a strong background in health care and gaming. She speaks multiple languages and has held executive-level positions in the gaming industry, serving as executive director for international marketing for the Middle East, India and Philippines for top hotel-casinos such as the Bellagio, MGM, Venetian and Caesars Palace.

Vaswani is active in the community, serving as a board member or a volunteer for several non-profit organizations. She received a federal appointment as one of the directors for the Congressional Award Board in Washington D.C. and chairs the Nevada Congressional Award Council. She also serves as an executive board member of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada, member of the Clark County Community Development Advisory Committee, president of the Las Vegas India Chamber of Commerce, member of the Governor’s Economic Development for Nevada-India Business Development Council and executive board member of the non-profit organization FirstMed Health & Wellness. Vaswani has also served as vice chair for the board of governors for Centennial Hills Hospital since its opening. She currently volunteers with a medical tourism group in Nevada.

Vaswani has received numerous honors, including 2014 Las Vegas Top 100 Women of Influence, 2014 Distinguished Women in Nevada for leadership in the community and the 2013 Women’s Hall of Fame Pioneer Award.
