Gordon Silver announced that John L. Krieger has joined our firm as a shareholder in our Las Vegas office.  He will be a member of our Intellectual Property, Entertainment & Sports, and Internet Gaming practice groups.

“John is a terrific addition to our team,” said Gordon Silver managing partner Gregory E. Garman, “He brings an wealth of knowledge to our practice, and is a great fit for our expanding IP and Entertainment & Sports practice groups.”

Krieger concentrates his practice on intellectual property litigation in both state and federal court; prosecuting and defending clients for claims including trademark infringement, copyright infringement, domain name litigation; as well as trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition. He has extensive experience litigating cases involving the infringement of intellectual property rights over the Internet, and has successfully shut down websites containing infringing material, secured the transfer of infringing domain names to his clients, and stopped the unauthorized and improper linking to clients’ websites. Krieger has also assisted and counseled clients in defensive domain name registration strategies to protect his client’s trademarks in the U.S. and around the world.

Krieger received his J.D. from the Washington University School of Law in 1996 and his B.A. in Asian Studies from Brigham Young University in 1993.  He was named to Nevada Business' 2013 Legal Elite in the "Southern Nevada Best" category, and is featured in Mountain States Super Lawyers® and The Best Lawyers in America. The Legal Aid Society of Southern Nevada honored him as their Myrna Williams Children's Pro Bono Award recipient in 2012 for his commitment to pro bono service.
