LAS VEGAS – Mike Mixer, executive managing director of Colliers International – Las Vegas, announced the company has hired Susan Borst as a vice president in the company’s industrial division and a partner within the firm’s Doherty Industrial Group.
Borst has experience in all facets of industrial real estate, including site selection, owner/user and investor acquisition and sales, market evaluation, and tenant and landlord representation. Her analytical experience includes cash flow analysis, underwriting, CAM analysis, risk identification, analysis of third-party reports, and pricing recommendations. In addition, she holds the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), and is a member of the Southern Nevada CCIM Chapter and past board member. These experiences will prove to be invaluable for Colliers’ industrial division as she works with her clients on property evaluations and acquisitions.
Borst, who was also a member of the Colliers International team earlier in her career, began her work in commercial real estate more than 20 years ago, starting with Harsch Investment Properties as due diligence and closing manager. In that role, she closed more than $850 million in acquisitions and sales, consisting of shopping centers, apartments, and office and industrial properties. Immediately prior to rejoining Colliers, Borst served as director of industrial leasing and sales for Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce.
