(Las Vegas) – The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance announced that Kristina Barry has been appointed to the position of Strategic Initiatives Coordinator.
In her new position, Barry provides assistance on various policy issues for the LVGEA, including its initiatives surrounding education, tech transfer, transportation, land use, unmanned aerial systems, and workforce development. In addition, she is responsible for conducting research on government advocacy issues and providing support to the LVGEA’s public relations and marketing initiatives.
Barry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
“Kristina has brought great knowledge to our organization, and we’re looking forward to the important work she will accomplish with our team as we embark on continuous efforts to diversify our economy on a global scale,” said LVGEA President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Skancke.
