Gordon Silver Ltd. is pleased to announce that Richard L. Galin, of counsel in the firm’s Las Vegas office, has been elected Director of the Japan America Society of Nevada.
Galin focuses his practice in the areas of corporate, financial and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, complex commercial contracts, capital-raising, securities regulation, corporate governance, and financial institution regulation. Before joining the firm, he practiced law for six years in Tokyo, Japan as a specially-licensed foreign attorney with a large, international business law firm.
Galin began his distinguished career as an attorney with the Office of the Comptroller of Currency in Washington, D.C., in the Securities & Corporate Practices Division, was a partner in a prominent California law firm.
Galin received his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.S., magna cum laude, from Long Island University.
