United Blood Services of Las Vegas
Blood drive at The Orleans Hotel & Casino
Find the hero in you! Volunteer blood donors are needed in Las Vegas year-round. All donors will receive a voucher for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the French Market Buffet. The voucher is not valid during French Market Buffet’s Wednesday Steak, Shrimp and Scampi, Friday Seafood Buffet or Sunday Champagne Brunch.
As Southern Nevada’s community blood provider, United Blood Services relies on blood donations to make sure blood is available for anyone who needs it. UBS currently has a need for O negative blood. O negative is the universal blood type and the only type that can be transfused to patients with different blood types.
Donors are encouraged to make an appointment and can do so by calling 877-827-4376 or by visiting www.unitedbloodservices.org/LV. Donors can also visit www.unitedbloodservices.org/HealthHistory.html to complete an online health history questionnaire prior to visiting any UBS blood drive. This questionnaire often saves time for donors, as it provides UBS with valuable information that is typically gathered during the in-person interview process at mobile blood drives and donation centers. The questionnaire must be completed on the same day as the blood donation.
UBS is always interested in creating partnerships for new blood drive sponsors in our community. To learn more about organizing a mobile blood drive, please call (702)304-6457.
