LAS VEGAS — Nevada State Bank named Thomas Elmer executive vice president and chief credit officer overseeing all aspects of credit administration, including loan approval, risk grading, loan servicing, special assets, construction disbursement and appraisals. He will serve as a member of the bank’s executive management committee.
Elmer spent more than 15 years with Key Bank, N.A., in the Pacific Northwest where he most recently served as senior vice president and regional credit officer. He studied accounting and economics at Washington State University and Eastern Washington University before starting his career in commercial banking.
He has earned numerous awards during his career including the 2011 KeyCorp Chairman’s Award.
