Derek Stevens, owner of The D Las Vegas and Golden Gate Hotel and Casino located in downtown Las Vegas, purchased the former courthouse at auction on October 1, 2013. The 315,180-square-foot property situated on 2.76 acres of land is located at 200 S. Third St. in downtown Las Vegas and encompasses one full city block. Josh Smith, Gabe Telles, Mike Mixer and Scott Gragson of Colliers International represented the buyer.
“This transaction demonstrates the continued interest in the revitalization of Las Vegas’ downtown,” said Mixer. “The proximity of the Old County Courthouse to Fremont Street allows for exciting new development ideas and opportunities. We are extremely excited to see Derek’s vision for this property take shape in the future.”
