Historic Train Depot in Reno to House Combined Brewery and Distillery

The historic Nevada-California-Oregon Railway Depot in Reno will house the Silver State’s first combined brewery and distillery.

This is according to a statement released by Reno natives Chris Shanks and Brandon Wright, who have partnered with a “long-time Nevada family” to transform the downtown building. The business, dubbed The Depot Craft Provisions Company, is expected to open in the summer of 2014.

“We couldn’t be more excited to restore this beautiful building in a part of town that is reinventing itself,” said Shanks, who will serve as The Depot general manager. “This Reno treasure will serve as the perfect place to showcase our products and craft.”
