Kevin Buckley, a longtime local commercial real estate broker and board member of the Commercial Alliance Las Vegas, was recently honored by the National Association of REALTORS for his contributions and achievements in commercial real estate.
During NAR’s annual meetings held earlier this month in San Francisco, Buckley was one of 59 commercial real estate professionals from around the nation to receive NAR’s Commercial National Award. He was the only honoree from Nevada.
Buckley, a longtime Las Vegan and broker at First Real Estate Companies in Las Vegas, has decades of experience working in the commercial real estate industry. He earned his Nevada real estate license in 1977, when the population of Las Vegas was less than 300,000. He began his career with Realty Holdings Group, a company owned by longtime and leading real estate developer Irwin Molasky. He worked there under real estate executive Keith Bassett, who Buckley called “a mentor and great friend.”
The NAR Commercial National Award began in 2006 to recognize the nation’s top commercial real estate professionals. Award winners will be featured in the December issue of NAR’s Commercial Connections publication. For more information, visit http://www.realtor.org/commercial/national-commercial-awards
