USONV’s Green Valley, Red Rock, and Mountain View office locations will accept donations via donation boxes placed in each office’s waiting room. USONV patients, employees, and the local community can drop off donations at any location, now through Dec. 31.
“Traditionally the holidays can take a toll on food pantries, so we’re excited to make a contribution in early January to help get 2014 off to a brighter start for the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, and those who depend on its support,” said Dr. Robert McBeath, president of USONV. “It’s important to our staff to participate in community giving, and we’re proud to support the Las Vegas Rescue Mission.”
Any and all non-perishable food items will be accepted. USONV’s locations are: Green Valley office, 56 N. Pecos Rd., Ste. B, Henderson; Red Rock office, 5701 W. Charleston Blvd., Ste. 201, Las Vegas; and Mountain View office, 3150 N. Tenaya Way, Ste. 165, Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Rescue Mission serves more than 1,000 meals a day to its residents and the hungry. In 2012, the Rescue Mission served 351,099 meals. For more information on the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, visit www.vegasrescue.org.
