Las Vegas TV Journalists Join Forces to Emcee 17th Annual PRSA Pinnacle Awards

KSNV reporter Mackenzie Warren and KVVU anchor Stefanie Jay will emcee the 17th Annual Pinnacle Awards Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Red Rock Casino Resort.LAS VEGAS – The Public Relations Society of America – Las Vegas Valley Chapter (PRSA-LVVC), an active chapter of more than 100 public relations professionals residing in Southern Nevada, announced that KSNV reporter Mackenzie Warren and KVVU anchor Stefanie Jay will emcee the 17th Annual Pinnacle Awards. The Pinnacle Awards recognize the best and brightest in public relations strategies and tactics, and demonstrate the effective results of public relations.

The annual ceremony will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Rocks Lounge inside the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa located at 11011 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131.

Warren and Jay will emcee the awards presentation portion of the Pinnacle Awards. The presentation will highlight the top public relations programs as well as tools and techniques utilized in various campaigns throughout Southern Nevada in 2012 and 2013. Additionally, three individual awards are scheduled to be distributed, including honors for Newcomer of the Year, PR Practitioner of the Year and the Roger Buehrer Lifetime Achievement Award. The event will also feature a cocktail hour and dinner.

Warren joined the KSNV News 3 team in 2011. Prior to joining KSNV, Warren worked for KRNV in Reno, the Houston Chronicle and NBC Nightly News in New York City.

Jay is currently a co-anchor for “FOX5 News This Morning,” which airs each weekday from 4:30 to 9 a.m. An Orange County, Calif. native, Jay joined the KVVU team in 2008. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Jay worked as an anchor for KMID in Midland, Tex.
