United Blood Services of Las Vegas (UBS)
Blood drive at the Aliante Casino and Hotel
Find the hero in you and give blood at the Aliante Casino and Hotel! Volunteer blood donors are needed in Las Vegas year-round. All donors at this blood drive will receive a two-for-one meal at the Medley Buffet courtesy of the Aliante Casino and Hotel. Each donor will also receive a free T-shirt courtesy of UBS.
UBS will also offer additional incentives for successful blood donations through its Hero Rewards Program, which offers points for blood donations that can be accumulated and exchanged for prizes ranging from movie tickets to gift certificates. Blood donors at this drive will receive 1,000 additional Hero Rewards Points, redeemable for a variety of gifts through the UBS Online Rewards store.
As Southern Nevada’s community blood provider, United Blood Services relies on blood donations to make sure blood is available for anyone who needs it. UBS currently has a need for O negative blood. O negative is the universal blood type and the only type that can be transfused to patients with different blood types.
Donors are encouraged to make an appointment and can do so by calling 877-827-4376 or by visiting www.unitedbloodservices.org/LV. Donors can also visit www.unitedbloodservices.org/HealthHistory.html to complete an online health history questionnaire prior to visiting any UBS blood drive. This questionnaire often saves time for donors, as it provides UBS with valuable information that is typically gathered during the in-person interview process at mobile blood drives and donation centers. The questionnaire must be completed on the same day as the blood donation.
