(Las Vegas) – The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance, formerly the Nevada Development Authority, announced today that Carol Cooper has been appointed to the position of Director of Administrative Services.
Cooper began her career with the Nevada Development Authority in 1989 as an accounting specialist and was promoted to financial manager in 2001. With more than 24 years of experience, service and dedication to this organization, she has witnessed many changes and accomplishments while watching Southern Nevada grow and flourish into the vibrant community that it is today. Cooper currently sits on the Las Vegas Perspective Board and in past years, she was an active board member of School to Career and participated on the committee for Preview Las Vegas.
“Since I joined the organization in November, I have found Carol to be a dedicated and insightful member of our team. Her years of service to this organization are a testament of her loyalty and commitment to our mission. These attributes will not only assist her in her new role as Director of Administrative Services, but will help to move our organization forward,” said President and CEO, Tom Skancke.
