Las Vegas, NV (April 22, 2013) – Lionel Sawyer & Collins shareholder Elizabeth Brickfield has been appointed to the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) Foundation Board of Trustees. The CSN Foundation is the primary fund-raising and development organization of the College of Southern Nevada. The Foundation Board is composed of twenty-five members from across the spectrum of Las Vegas and Southern Nevada business, industry, education and history. The Foundation attributes much of its ongoing success and effectiveness to the aggregate knowledge and experience that is found on their Board. Currently, the Foundation administers just under 100 scholarships and other fundraising programs in support of CSN. “Elizabeth is a great addition to the CSN Foundation Board of Trustees. She not only brings professional experience and knowledge to the Board, she also has a firm understanding of the mission of a community college and the funding challenges many of our students face as they attempt to work full time and manage family responsibilities,” said Jacque Matthews, Executive Director of the CSN Foundation.
Ms. Brickfield is a shareholder in the Firm’s Business Law Department. She practices tax and family law, including estate planning, trusts and estates, guardianship matters and probate. Her extensive professional commitments include serving as a member of the Probate, Tax and Family Law sections of the American Bar Association; as a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and as a member of the Southern Nevada Council of Estate Planners. She is also a member and former President and Treasurer of the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys.
