(Las Vegas, NV) – Nevada State Apartment Association held its Eighth Annual Market Trends event on February 15, 2013 at Treasure Island. With 324 apartment industry professionals in attendance (which was a 17% increase over the previous year), this was the MOST attended Market Trends event on record. 2013 Market Trends was a highly anticipated event; this was a convenient way to keep up with industry trends and gain local industry insight. This year’s Market Trends brought some of the industry’s top leaders, political figures and special guests.
This year’s theme “It’s Not Monopoly Money” was based on economic conditions and local & national trends. As anticipated, Market Trends event brought in the best and brightest apartment industry professionals, who were eager to be educated for the future and who took this opportunity to network and socialize.
It has become a long-standing tradition to invite the industry’s top leaders, economists, consultants, statisticians, political figures and special guests to the Market Trends. This year’s event had an amazing line up of distinguished and highly-esteemed professionals. Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman delivered an inspirational and informative speech. We also had a surprise appearance from Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller. Some of the top industry leaders presenting at this year’s event included national apartment industry speaker Lisa Trosien (ApartmentExpert.com), Christopher Bentley (Apartment Realty Advisors), Michael Brown (Camden Property Trust), Frank Hawkins (Global Property Management Group, Inc), Bett Hemry (707 Management), Robert Hicks (Alliance Residential), John Restrepo (RCG Economics LLC), and Kevin Richards (Ventura Web Design). Forte LLC (NSAA Lobbyists) shared an insightful legislative update.
