NEVADA CHARITIES ENCOURAGED TO SIGN UP FOR NEVADA’S BIG GIVE BY APRIL 1
Giving day goal is to raise more than $1 million
The second statewide online giving initiative, Nevada’s Big Give, is scheduled for April 25, 2013, and all Nevada nonprofit organizations are encouraged to sign up online to participate.
Nevada’s Big Give is a day of online giving that benefits charities across the state. The nonprofit NevadaGIVES launched this unique, high-visibility promotion of personal giving to bring new donors and dollars to nonprofit organizations in Nevada.
To sign up, charities should visit the Nevada’s Big Give website, www.NVBigGive.org, by April 1, and follow the instructions to register and create their own homepage on the site. Charities that participated last year are automatically signed up.
Nevada’s Big Give urges participating nonprofits to encourage their supporters to donate on April 25. To help organizations meet their fundraising goals, Nevada’s Big Give has provided a campaign toolkit and will hold a professional development workshop for them on April 1.
