William W. Plise founded Las Vegas-based Plise Development & Construction (now PD&C LLC) in 1994. Plise’s expertise and experience in construction and business management continue to provide the leadership and knowledge that forms the foundation of the firm’s success. PD&C – established as a general construction, design/build and tenant improvement company – completed the remodeling of its first commercial tenant improvement project in 1995. The design/build approach was extremely successful, said Plise, resulting in client referrals that created new opportunities.
Determined to expand PD&C’s expertise to real estate development, Plise secured a seasoned and experienced developer, Michael Townsend, to serve as the company’s president. Today, with the management team of Bill Plise (CEO), Michael Townsend (President) and Daniel Kinshella (COO), PD&C specializes in the commercial development and construction of its own projects and joint venture developments. The company has performed property development, general construction, design/build, commercial ground-up construction and tenant improvement projects throughout the greater Las Vegas Valley.
PD&C has completed more than 500,000 square feet of commercial development in Southern Nevada. Some of its completed projects include: Gaudin Jaguar Porsche Dealership; Nevada Imaging Center (numerous locations); Old Spaghetti Factory; Sierra Home Medical Products; Southern Highland Golf Clubhouse and Harmon Business Center.
Currently PD&C is developing more than 3 million square feet in Henderson and the southwest Las Vegas Valley. Its current projects include Rainbow Quail Business Park, three single-story buildings, totaling 28,100 square feet, designed for retail and professional office use. Project completion is scheduled for Summer 2002. Siena Office Park, a 30-acre development located next to St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Green Valley, will bring an additional 335,000 square feet of Class A medical and professional office space to Henderson. Siena Office Park will include 11 buildings: four medical buildings, two professional office buildings, a retail store, banking facilities, a restaurant and a three-story hotel. The first phase is scheduled for completion in March 2002, with completion of the entire office park slated for the third quarter of 2003. Sage Mountain Commerce Center, which is currently in the final planning stages, will become the largest Henderson development created by a single company. This mixed-use commerce center located next to the Henderson Executive Airport will include more than 2.5 million square feet of Class A professional offices, light industrial and big box distribution space. Completion of phase one of Sage Mountain is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2002.
“As PD&C prepares to meet future Southern Nevada development challenges, the company continues its commitment to providing the highest in building standards and product quality,” said Plise. “This includes exploration of new terrain, technological advancements and product innovations.”
